Important Steps For A New Believer
Be assured in your new faith:
1 John 5:11-12 “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

Be assured of your complete forgiveness of sin:
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.”

Be strengthened and grow by reading the Bible:
1 Peter 2:2 “as new born babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby”

Be strengthened in your communion (prayer) with God:
1 John 5:14-15 “Now this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
Be strengthened in community with others as a part of a local Church:
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Be sharing your faith with others:
Mark 5:19 “And Jesus said to him, “Go home to your friends and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”
